Reichanadter helps tornado victims
by James W. Brown
Jeri Reichanadter, adjunct lecturer in the school of journalism, photographed the tornado in Moscow, Ind. in June 2008. The devastation of the storm affected her on a personal level. Jeri worked with her step-son Chad and her husband Perry to help in the relief effort.
Reichanadter's co-workers, friends and church members quickly filled the bed of her full-sized pickup truck with goods to help storm victims.
Photojournalists cannot do their work without compassion. Reichanadter's family effort on her days off work is a visible effect of her empathy toward her subjects.
